From the Hair to the Soul

This short documentary is a warming story about a local salon owner, worker, and mother who has run her salon for 20+ years. The story takes the viewer through how she opened the salon, what the place means to her and her customers, and how it affects her family life. It also looks at how her priority is the well-being of her clients as she cuts their hair and makes them feel at home.

I was the cinematographer for this project; which involved capturing interesting moments during the process of the shoot. Setting up lighting equipment for interviews, and synching with the boom operator to make sure the sound and video are equal.
